NURTW OKE-IGBO DECLARES TOTAL SUPPORT FOR MATO, TINUBU AHEAD OF 2027
Oke-Igbo, Ondo State — The Oke-Igbo Branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, led by Rafiu Adesiyan, popularly known as Jesus Power, has declared its support for Hon. Mathew Oye Oyerinmade, popularly known as MATO, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

NURTW OKE-IGBO DECLARES TOTAL SUPPORT FOR MATO, TINUBU AHEAD OF 202 The NURTW delegation made the declaration earlier this morning during a strategic meeting with Hon. MATO at his residence in Oke-Igbo.
The meeting, which lasted for about one hour, brought together members and leaders of the transport union, who discussed political mobilisation and other issues ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to the delegation, the Oke-Igbo NURTW branch is throwing its support behind MATO and will work towards mobilising its members and supporters in the community ahead of the elections.
The group also expressed support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. INEC has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for January 16, 2027. (INEC Nigeria)
The visit further highlights the growing political activities and consultations taking place across Oke-Igbo and the wider constituency as political stakeholders position themselves ahead of the 2027 polls.
The meeting ended with the NURTW delegation reaffirming its commitment to the political direction announced by its leadership.
