OKITIPUPA LG CHAIRMAN COMMENCES RENOVATION OF LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL BUILDING
The Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon. Andrew Ogunsakin, has commenced the renovation of the Okitipupa Local Government Legislative Council Building.
According to a report published by the Speaker of the Okitipupa Local Government Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Adeleke Akingboye Dada, and obtained by Ikale Heritage TV on Thursday, August 13, 2026, the renovation project reflects the administration’s commitment to providing a conducive working environment for legislators and strengthening governance at the grassroots.

The project is aimed at improving the condition of the legislative council building and creating a more functional and befitting environment for members of the council to carry out their legislative responsibilities effectively.
The initiative is also expected to enhance legislative activities and promote efficient service delivery to the people of Okitipupa Local Government.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adeleke Akingboye Dada, commended the Executive Chairman for undertaking the renovation, describing it as a significant step towards strengthening the institution of grassroots governance.
The development is expected to provide a better working environment for lawmakers and further support effective representation and deliberations at the local government level.
