IRELE LG FIRST LADY EMPOWERS WOMEN LEADERS WITH RICE, CHAIRMAN PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT
The First Lady of Irele Local Government, Deaconess Olufunke Akinfe, has empowered women leaders across the council by distributing 25kg bags of rice to the ten ward women leaders, the General Women Leader, and her deputy as part of efforts to support their welfare.

During a strategic meeting, she appreciated the women for their unwavering prayers and support for the Akinfe-led administration, while reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive governance and women’s empowerment.

Earlier, the Executive Chairman of Irele Local Government, Hon. (Deacon) Olajide Akinfe, received the women leaders alongside the APC Local Government Chairman, Comrade Olusegun Igbasan, where he commended their grassroots mobilization efforts and provided financial support for their meeting. He also assured them of continued inclusion in the council’s empowerment programmes.
The women leaders expressed gratitude for the administration’s people-centered leadership and pledged their continued support for the OUR EASE Administration.
