Hon. Mathew Oye Oyerinmade, popularly known as MATO, is a man whose political journey and relationship with the people are built on service, sacrifice and genuine concern for humanity. From Irele to Oke-Igbo and across communities in Ondo South, MATO has continued to demonstrate that leadership is not only about seeking political positions, but also about touching lives and standing with people when they need support.
MATO is a man who has paid his due to the people who have crossed his path. He has supported men and women, young and old, party members, leaders and ordinary citizens. His contributions have not been limited to people of a particular background or status. Wherever he sees an opportunity to make a difference, he has shown willingness to contribute his quota.
One of the qualities that distinguish MATO is his understanding of the challenges facing ordinary people. He knows where the shoes pinch.
