RAINBOW COALITION: IT IS MULTI-PARTY, NOT ANTI-PARTY — THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN

A new political reality is taking shape in Nigeria, Most especially in Ondo Southern area of Ondo State where the people from different political parties has come together around candidates they believe should represent them.
That is the Rainbow Coalition. It is multi-party, not anti-party. Rainbow coalition is a convergence of political interests without requiring voters to abandon their party identities.
The message is simple: politics is about choice, and the choice ultimately belongs to the people.
This is the proposition of the Rainbow Coalition in Ondo South:
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC for President.
Hon. Mathew Oye Oyerinmade (MATO) of the PDP for Senate.
Different parties. Different offices. One electorate.
There is no contradiction in a voter making different choices at different levels. The ballot gives citizens the opportunity to decide who they want for each position.
THE MANDATE BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE
Parties can nominate candidates. Politicians can negotiate alliances. Campaigns can make their arguments.
But ultimately, the mandate belongs to the electorate.
The voter has the final say at the ballot box.
That is the principle behind the MATO message: party affiliation should not prevent citizens from making the choice they believe serves their interests.
And for those who have made their choice, the message is clear:
TINUBU FOR PRESIDENT.
MATO FOR SENATE.
